Leeds United supporters handed rare bright spot following FA Cup final

Leeds United fans have had very little to cheer about in recent weeks, as they were forced to see their side drop out of the Premier League, witnessed yet another managerial departure and reeled from the ongoing ownership issues that have the club currently in limbo.

Needless to say, the game of football is not giving the diehard Whites fans much to be happy about of late. So you can forgive Leeds supporters for smiling at the sight of one of their own picking up another winners' medal when former Thorp Arch graduate Kalvin Phillips lifted the FA Cup with Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.

While Kalvin didn't make it onto the pitch and add to the 593 minutes he's played at City since his summer move from Leeds, he was quick to join in the celebrations, no doubt thrilled to have seen off Leeds' bitter rivals Manchester United in the final.
