Leeds United supporters give withering verdict in player ratings from Everton defeat

Leeds United supporters have made it clear that they were far from impressed with their side's performance against Everton, as they scored no player higher than a 5.3 out of 10 in their match ratings - with Jack Harrison receiving a score of just 2.7 following his display at Goodison Park.

Seamus Coleman's cross-cum-shot in the 64th minute saw Leeds lose 1-0 to fellow relegation rivals Everton on Saturday afternoon. Sean Dyche's squad leapfrogged the Whites, who now sit just one point above bottom-placed Southampton - their opponents next weekend.

Illan Meslier's assumption that Coleman was going to cross the ball into the middle of the penalty area proved to be the decisive moment in the match, yet in truth he was not the only one to fail to live up to expectations when it was needed most.

Leeds fans have now submitted their player ratings following the defeat, with only Tyler Adams (5.3) and Luke Ayling (5.0) being awarded more than half marks. Harrison's 2.7 sees him at the foot of the table, joined by Patrick Bamford (3.1) and Meslier (3.5).

The Elland Road faithful will no doubt be hoping that there is no need to be so critical next weekend against the Saints, as they had their say on what was a hugely disappointing result against the Toffees.
