Leeds United superfans Kaiser Chiefs show affection to another club on tour

We all know Kaiser Chiefs love Leeds United but it appears there’s another football which has some of their affections.

No, we don’t mean the South African side which inspired their name but instead German club St Pauli who some of the band went off to watch during their European tour.

Bass player Simon Rix posted a snap of some of the band in the stands during a thrilling 0-0 draw with Dynamo Dresden.

The band, famous Leeds United supporters, visiting Germany during their tour supporting recent album Duck, also got to enjoy some VAR action Bundesliga-style.

And, as you can see below, there appeared to be few complaints about its usage

Later this year, Kaiser Chiefs will be playing three massive outdoor gigs in Yorkshire.

They will be playing Dalby Forest on Friday, June 26 while they’ll also be appearing at The Piece Hall in Halifax on Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5.

You can find out more about the gigs through Ticketmaster and SeeTickets.

The Yorkshire shows follow a massive gig last summer at Elland Road to mark Leeds United’s centenary.

We are sure the group were dreaming of Elland Road during their visit to watch St Pauli.
