Leeds United suffered a pre-season injury concern when defender Diego Llorente was forced off during the first half of the friendly against Real Betis.
The defender was making his second start of the pre-season following his extended Euro 2020 campaign with Spain, but went down shortly after Borja Iglesias scored to put Real Betis 2-1 up.
Llorente briefly received treatment on the pitch on what appeared to be an ankle or knee issue, before quickly being replaced by Jamie Shackleton on 24 minutes.
Patrick Bamford gave Leeds an early lead when he headed home a Junior Firpo cross, only for LaLiga side Betis to quickly draw level through Aitor.
Llorente played the first-half of Leeds' 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday evening and Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping that his early withdrawal was purely a precautionary measure, with Llorente not appearing to be in too much discomfort as he left the pitch.
The 27-year-old struggled with injuries after his arrival in West Yorkshire last summer, missing a significant amount of the season before he was able to establish his place in the Leeds starting line-up over the final third of the season.
His excellent form as Leeds claimed a ninth-place Premier League finish meant that he earned a place in Spain's Euro 2020 squad, but not play any minutes in their run to the semi-finals.
Liam Cooper, another of Leeds' centre-back options is yet to feature this pre-season, while Pascal Struijk and Robin Koch both started against Blackburn Rovers and Real Betis.
