Leeds United suffered an double injury blow during the second half against Western Sydney Wanderers as last season's leading goalscorer Kemar Roofe limped off before Mateusz Bogusz was also substituted.
Marcelo Bielsa's side took a 1-0 lead into the half-time interval following Mateusz Bogusz's superb opener, only to see Kwame Yeboah level for the hosts shortly after the restart when he slotted past Kiko Casilla.
And matters quickly got worse following the goal, as Roofe collided with Wanderers defender Tass Mourdoukoutas as he stretched for a ball during a goalmouth scramble in the 50th minute.
After limping around briefly, Roofe made his way to the sideline where he received treatment before Bielsa decided not to take any risks and replace him.
Jordan Stevens was the man to come on.
Bogusz, who netted a superb opener for the Whites, was also forced off during the second half. The Pole had strapping on his left thigh and appeared to be in discomfort so was substituted for Clarke Oduor in the 81st minute.
Leeds would go on to win 2-1 thanks to a superb individual strike from Pablo Hernandez deep in stoppage time.
Bielsa did not give an update on the pair in his immediate post-match press conference, with the injuries likely to be assessed before the squad return to the UK on Sunday.
