As part of the agreement that Leeds United and Marcelo Bielsa came to earlier this summer when the Argentine extended his contract at Elland Road, the club committed to a number of changes at the Thorp Arch training ground.
As well as implementing a remote-controlled training system, refitting the changing rooms to mirror Elland Road, building sleep pods and a one kilometer running track, Bielsa also instructed the club to recommission the swimming pool.
Ever since the Massimo Cellino era, the Thorp Arch pool has remained empty, following the former Italian chairman's age of austerity he enforced on the club.
And with the Leeds United squad concluding their second week of pre-season training, we have our first glimpse of the refurbished pool.
Leeds striker Tyler Roberts shared an Instagram story from the club's performance nutritionist Nessan Costello, showing the Welsh forward in his swimming trunks, complete with goggles and swimming cap as he gets ready for a dip.
"All smiles before but that swim sesh was a madness," Roberts posted. "P.s. don't take life to serious" [sic] he continued.
In the background you can see the pool, which is back in the game and will give Bielsa another method in which to prepare his squad ahead of the new season.
Leeds visit York City on Wednesday evening for their first pre-season friendly before heading to Guiseley the following evening. They will then jet out Down Under to Australia for their pre-season tour.
