Leeds United star Raphinha continues to be touted as Liverpool and Man Utd transfer target

Trevor Sinclair believes Leeds United star Raphinha is good enough to play for Manchester City, Manchester United or Liverpool.

The Brazilian winger has made a flying start to life at Elland Road after joining the club for £15million in the summer.

Raphinha has already five goals and registered five assists in 18 Premier League starts, establishing himself as one of Leeds' best players.

As a result of his fine form, the 25-year-old is already being linked away from the Whites, with several of the Premier League's top clubs said to be interested and Sinclair believes he would slot right in.

Leeds 0-1 Villa - Beren Cross reacts

Sinclair told talkSPORT: “I’ve been so impressed by Raphinha. He’s been outstanding in that final third being able to create goals and score goals.

“If you put Raphinha in one of the top sides, he wouldn’t look out of place. I’m not saying Leeds aren’t a top side, they’re a newly promoted Premier League side.

“But I think if you put him in a Manchester City or Manchester United or Liverpool side, he wouldn’t look out of place. He’s got that much quality on the ball.”

Speaking after Leeds' recent 3-0 win over Southampton, where Raphinha starred, Marcelo Bielsa said: “I sincerely think that I can add very little to his game.

“The best thing you can do with players who are so spontaneous is to let them be themselves.

“He’s a player who unbalances [the opposition] by himself, he’s very ambitious, very competitive.”
