Leeds United squad pays tribute to Jack Charlton ahead of Swansea City clash

The Leeds United squad have paid their respects to the late Jack Charlton ahead of their Championship match at Swansea City.

Club legend Charlton passed away, aged 85, on Friday evening and tributes have been flooding into the one-club man from across the footballing world this weekend.

Prior to their clash at the Liberty Stadium the Leeds squad warmed up in t-shirts that read 'RIP Big Jack' and the players were joined by their opponents in observing a minute's silence before kick-off.

Both sides are wearing black armbands for Leeds' all-time record appearance holder, who won every major domestic honour available during his 23-year stint at Elland Road. His 773 appearances for the club is a record that may never be broken.

Charlton was also a key member of England's 1966 World Cup winning side and enjoyed a successful career in management after hanging up his boots.

His death comes after Leeds lost fellow Revie-era greats Norman Hunter and Trevor Cherry earlier this year.
