Leeds United set for rare formation as Kalvin Phillips returns in one change for Marcelo Bielsa

Marcelo Bielsa has made one change to the Leeds United line-up which faced Wolverhampton Wanderers for the visit to Norwich City today.

Raphinha and Jamie Shackleton have been passed fit to continue in the team, while Mateusz Klich is the man sacrificed for Kalvin Phillips' return to Premier League duty.

Norwich City have deployed a 3-5-2 formation for the past four matches, but it looks like they may go with 3-4-3 today.

That could see Bielsa stick with the 4-4-2 he used against Wolves, who also play 3-4-3, with Pascal Struijk and Phillips as the central midfielders.

That means Struijk keeps his place in the team with Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente continuing in central defence.

Junior Firpo returned to action on Friday night with the under-23s as he played half an hour, but is not sharp enough to force his way back into the squad at all.

Daniel James and Jack Harrison have done enough to remain in the side and it will be interesting to see who partners Rodrigo through the middle.

Leeds United: Meslier; Shackleton, Llorente, Cooper, Dallas; Raphinha, Phillips, Stuijk, Harrison; Rodrigo, James.

Substitutes: Klaesson, Forshaw, Roberts, Gelhardt, Hjelde, Cresswell, Drameh, Summerville, Klich.
