Leeds United see heavyweight Liverpool and Man United fixtures moved for Sky Sports coverage

Leeds United's upcoming home clashes against Liverpool and Manchester United have been rescheduled to prime time television slots.

Jurgen Klopp's faltering Premier League champions' trip to Elland Road has been pushed back two days into the Monday Night Football slot on Sky Sports and will now be played at 8pm Monday, April 19.

Leeds will host the Reds looking to gain revenge for their 4-3 opening weekend defeat back in September.

Payback will also be on the agenda when Manchester United make their first Premier League trip to Elland Road since October 2003, in a clash that has now been put back a day and will take place on Sunday, April 25 at 2pm.

Marcelo Bielsa's men slumped to a 6-2 defeat to their bitter rivals at Old Trafford in December.

Before that, Leeds host Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United at Elland Road this weekend, with a trip to face Pep Guardiola's table-topping Manchester City side the following weekend.

New fixture dates:

Monday April 19

Leeds United vs Liverpool (8pm, Sky Sports)

Sunday April 25

Leeds United vs Manchester United (2pm, Sky Sports)
