Leeds United's selection options for the pre-season clash against Manchester United in Australia

Marcelo Bielsa has named a 16-man squad for Leeds United's pre-season tour of Australia.

The Whites head Down Under for two pre-season friendlies next week as they lock horns with old rivals Manchester United on Wednesday in Perth before heading across the country to play Western Sydney Wanderers next Saturday.

In typical Bielsa style, the Leeds head coach will have a small squad to work with for the two matches, as he leaves the majority of the club's new signings and those who arrived back to pre-season later owing to international commitments back at Thorp Arch in order for them to work on their fitness.

That means young hopefuls such as Kamil Miazek, Bryce Hosannah, Mateusz Bogusz, Clarke Odour and Jordan Stevens will be hoping to build on their successes with the under-23s side last season and get a chance to impress Down Under.

But how should Bielsa's starting XI look when they head out to face their old foes from across the Pennines at the Optus Stadium in Perth?

Should Leeds stick with tried and test senior players or is this an excellent opportunity for one of the club's younger players to experience a match against Leeds' fiercest rivals?
