Leeds United fans have enjoyed a rollercoaster ride of emotions so far this season and the latest supercomputer prediction expects that to continue.
The Whites began the season with great tussles against Liverpool and Manchester City and comfortable wins over the likes of Aston Villa, but then 4-1 hammerings at the hands of Leicester City and Crystal Palace highlighted the vulnerabilities of Marcelo Bielsa's side.
However, Leeds responded by claiming victories over the likes of Everton, Newcastle, Burnley and West Brom. Even after losing three of their last five league games, Bielsa's side have an 11-point cushion on the relegation zone.
Leeds currently sit 12th in the Premier League and according to the latest supercomputer prediction from FiveThirtyEight, that's where the US-based analytics website thinks the Whites will finish.
Bielsa's side are backed to double their points total from 23 to 46 in their next 20 league games, something which FiveThirtyEight say will leave Leeds 12 points clear of the relegation zone at the end of the campaign.
It's safe to say this would be a good return for the Whites and whilst fans would have been hopeful of a top-half finish following their impressive start to the season, realistically 12th is much more than most supporters would have asked for at the beginning of the campaign.
What's more, the model assess the probability of each side being relegated and gives Leeds just a three per cent chance of dropping back to the Championship this summer.
Meanwhile, Fulham, West Brom and Sheffield United are expected to suffer relegation, while the race for the title is not expected to be close. Man City are down to win the league by 10 points, gaining 84 on their way to the league crown. Liverpool are backed to finish second, with Manchester United and Tottenham in third and fourth respectively.
