Leeds United's potential play-off final opponents confirmed

Leeds United's potential Championship play-off final opponents have been confirmed.

Should the Whites overcome Derby in their second-leg at Elland Road tomorrow night, then Marcelo Bielsa's side will face Aston Villa at Wembley on Monday 27 May.

Dean Smith's side edged past West Brom on penalties on Tuesday night, with goalkeeper Jed Steer Villa's hero saving two Albion spot kicks.

Bielsa's side will take a 1-0 lead into their second-leg against the Rams, but the Whites have already suffered a set-back before a ball has even been kicked, with goalscorer from the first-leg Kemar Roofe ruled out of the clash with a calf injury.

Adam Forshaw and Tyler Roberts will also miss the game, while Pontus Jansson is a doubt.

The Whites claimed a 3-2 win when the two met at Villa Park in December, before the pair played out a highly-controversial 1-1 draw at Elland Road just a couple of weeks ago.
