Patrick Bamford could yet receive his first senior England call-up ahead of the upcoming international break, according to reports.
Gareth Southgate is awaiting for news on the shoulder injury sustained by Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford during Saturday's 3-1 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.
The Times reports that Southgate is considering drafting in Leeds ace Bamford should Rashford have to withdrawn from the squad.
Newcastle United's Callum Wilson and Harvey Barnes of Leicester City are also said to be in contention.
Bamford scored his seventh goal of the season in Leeds' 4-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, while also having another effort harshly ruled out for offside by VAR.
The former Chelsea and Nottingham Forest front man previously played under Southgate when he was in charge of England's under-21 side.
