Leeds United have revealed their home kit for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
The Whites will celebrate their 100th birthday on October 17 this year and this season's home shirt reflects the upcoming milestone by opting for the traditional white shirt with a 'platinum' trim around the sleeves and neckline, which marks the club's big anniversary.
Embedded into the detail of the fabric on the back of the shirt is 'Leeds United 1919-2019'.
The kit is again made by Kappa, with 32Red continuing as the sponsor, with both logos again in platinum.
The simple design also features the club's new centenary badge, which is a stripped down version of the current crest with the words 'Leeds United' above it and '100 years' below. The two years 1919 and 2019 feature either side of it.
The home goalkeeper shirt, modelled by Bailey Peacock-Farrell is predominantly blue with yellow detailing.
The club's executive director Paul Bell said: “The Leeds United home shirt is something that is steeped in history.
“The club has chosen a classic white design with platinum trim on the kit to represent the centenary milestone, whilst featuring the all new centenary crest on the shirt and shorts.
“Leeds United has an incredible legacy in white and this kit celebrates our proud history, whilst also looking positively to the future.”
Fans will get their first glance of Marcelo Bielsa's 2019-20 squad in action on Wednesday evening, when Leeds visit York City for their first pre-season friendly of the summer. They then play at Guiseley the following evening, before they jet out to Australia for their pre-season tour at the weekend.
Leeds begin their 2019-20 Championship campaign on the road when they visit Ashton Gate to play Bristol City on Sunday August 4, with their first clash coming against Nottingham Forest the following weekend.
