Fixtures release, transfer deadline, pre-season friendlies - Leeds United's key dates this summer

Leeds United's dreams of playing Premier League football were dashed last month, when they crashed out of the Championship play-off semi-finals at the hands of Derby County.

With the post-mortem now underway and Leeds knowing what division they will be playing in next season and Marcelo Bielsa will again be at the helm, preparations can begin in earnest.

The club announced back in November they would be jetting out Down Under for a pre-season tour of Australia, where they will take on old rivals Manchester United and Western Sydney Wanderers.

Before then they will face off against local opposition in York City and Guiseley, with a third domestic friendly still to be potentially confirmed.

From the transfer window opening and closing to the fixtures being released, here are the key dates for your diary...
