Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips won't be joining England squad's EURO 2020 celebration stunt

England's players go head-to-head with Italy this evening, in a bid to win the European Championships for the first time.

Players' thoughts are scarcely on anything other than the task at hand, but in a new round of miniature interviews with broadcaster talkSPORT, the squad have revealed what they plan to do if England do emerge victorious.

Prior to the tournament, Phil Foden dyed his hair peroxide blonde, in homage to Paul Gascoigne's iconic haircut at EURO 1996, which was also hosted in England.

The Manchester City forward stated that should England win the entire competition, the whole squad should dye their hair the same colour - which hasn't exactly gone down well with some members of the Three Lions' camp.

One such naysayer is Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips, whose reluctance to participate was visible in his exchange with talkSPORT.

"I've seen everybody saying that they're going to dye their hair and stuff like that, but I don't think I want to do that to be honest, I don't want to have a full blonde wig," the Leeds man said.

Other celebratory forfeits which have been suggested include Declan Rice having his first beer, something he has pledged to do should England lift the trophy.

When pushed for an answer as to what Phillips would do in the event football 'comes home', he said: "I'm just going to have to leave it up to talkSPORT to [decide]. I'm going to have to, I can't think of anything.

"As long as it's not cutting my hair off, I don't mind," he added.

Phillips' former clubmate Ben White disagreed with the Leeds and England midfielder, stating he would, "do all of them, every single one".
