Leeds United's confirmed line-up to face Spurs as Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha decisions made

Marcelo Bielsa has named an unchanged starting XI for Leeds United's clash against Tottenham Hotspur, with Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha only fit enough for a place on the bench.

The Whites saw a six-match unbeaten run come to an end last weekend when they went down 2-0 at Brighton & Hove Albion, but the same side will have the opportunity to get back on track during the lunchtime kick-off at Elland Road.

Raphinha has been missing since he was forced off in the closing stages of last month's 2-1 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, while Phillips was absent from last weekend's defeat at Brighton with a knee injury.

The dup returned to training this week and take a place on the bench. Skipper Liam Cooper, who has completed his three-match suspension is not in the squad after taking a knock.

That means Illan Meslier continues in goal, with a back four of Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente, Pascal Struijk and Gjanni Alioski.

Robin Koch is likely to take up Phillips' defensive midfield role, with Mateusz Klich and Tyler Roberts also set to play centrally.

Stuart Dallas and Jack Harrison should provide the width, with leading scorer Patrick Bamford leading the line.

Bielsa confirmed Helder Costa has been ruled out for the rest of the season after he injured his back in the draw with Manchester United.

Phillips and Raphinha are joined on the bench by record signing Rodrigo, who played 45 minutes for the under-23s on Monday.

Leeds begin the weekend sitting 11th in the table and know that a win in this early kick-off will see them move up to ninth place ahead of the rest of the weekend's fixtures.

Mason's Spurs side are in sixth place, five points off the final Champions League spot.
