Leeds United's biggest weakness revealed ahead of Nottingham Forest trip

Nottingham Forest will play host to Leeds United on Saturday as the two sides continue their push for promotion in the Championship.

West Brom continue to lead the way at the top, but Leeds are close behind and are being following by Forest, Fulham, Brentford and Bristol City in the chase for Premier League football.

Marcelo Bielsa's side, to many, are the best side in the division, but they stumble when it comes to one crucial part of their game, says EFL pundit Andy Hinchcliffe.

Top scorer, Patrick Bamford has scored 12 goals in all competitions but has missed more chances that any other play in the division this term.

Their next highest scoring striker is Eddie Nketiah, who returned to Arsenal after just a handful of games, with five goals.

And Hinchcliffe has warned Leeds that, despite having more shots on target that any side in the second-tier, their failure to hit the back of the next could see history repeat itself when May comes.

Hinchcliffe told Sky Sports' EFL podcast:  "They average about 60% possession, the best in the Championship. They have more shots that any team in the league and more shots on target.

"The problem is, as it was last season, being clinical and sticking the ball in the back of the net.

"I have looked at their last nine games and in three of those nine they have scored eleven goals, that shows what they can do, but in the other six they've scored only three.

"They have dominated every single game but just have not taken the chances once they came along.

He added: "I did not think history would repeat. I thought Leeds were stronger this season, and they are stronger - their in-game stats tell you that they're stronger - but they are not taking their chances."
