Double U23s swoop
Leeds United are lining up a double swoop for West Ham’s Sonny Perkins and Birmingham City’s George Hall. That is according to the Athletic, who claim that the Whites are looking to continue their under-23s recruitment drive with moves for the midfield pair.
Both Hall and Perkins enjoyed a taste of first team experience last time out, with the former making two appearances for Birmingham, and the latter receiving his debut in the Europa League. Leeds are in the market for new midfielders at both youth and first team level this summer.
Ramsay deal
Liverpool are set to beat Leeds United to the signing of Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen with a move now thought to be close. That is according to Football Insider, who claim that talks between the two clubs are at an advanced stage.

Leeds had been fighting the FA and Carabao Cup winners for the 18-year-old’s signature but appear to have lost out to the Reds. The Whites have swiftly turned their attention elsewhere at right back, though, with a deal for Red Bull Salzburg’s Rasmus Kristensen close to completion.
Knight’s future
An exciting Leeds United transfer target has admitted that he dreams of playing in the Premier League whilst being in a 'difficult situation' at his current club. 21-year-old expansive midfielder Jason Knight has put together another solid season in the Championship at the young age of 21 and is garnering interest from several clubs, including Leeds.
Knight's current side Derby County were relegated to League One after being hit with a 12-point deduction after going into administration earlier in the season. And Knight's performance levels have rightly earned him the chance to play at a higher level, potentially at Elland Road, something he admitted would be difficult to turn down.
Speaking on Derby County's next season in League One, he told the Irish Mirror : "It’s a really competitive squad we’ve got now and you need to be playing football at the highest level you can. That’s for me and the manager to talk about but, for the moment, I’m still at Derby. I love the city and the club and I’ve been there a while.”
