Leeds United retained list ahead of the 2019-20 season

Leeds United have released their retained list for the 2019-20 season following Wednesday night's play-off defeat to Derby County.

With the all of the senior first-team squad all remaining under contract until at least next summer, the list of players that are leaving Leeds United this year consists of a trio of academy players who have not made any first-team appearances.

Lucas Odunston, Joshua Rae and Alex Wollerton will be departing this summer.

Odunston has since signed a professional deal with Hull City, while goalkeeper Rae, who was the hero in the under-23s Premier League Cup quarter-final penalty shootout win over Fulham, announced his departure on social media earlier this month.

Meanwhile, goalkeepers Will Huffer and Kamil Miazek have had their contracts extended, as the club have taken up the option to keep the duo at Elland Road.

Huffer made his first-team debut in November, keeping a clean sheet at Elland Road in a 2-0 win over Bristol City as he deputised for the injured Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

The England youth international then spent a month on loan at Barnet in January.

Four more young hopefuls have been offer new deals by the club. They are: Matthew Downing, Theo Hudson, Niall Huggins and Harrison Male.

In addition to this, scholars Luke Lyons and Joe Stanley have had their scholarships extended by a year.
