Leeds United have received a major boost heading into this weekend's clash with Liverpool.
The newly-promoted outfit will make the trip to Anfield on Saturday night and have been buoyed up by the news manager Marcelo Bielsa has signed a new deal.
In an announcement made by the club on Friday morning it was confirmed the Argentine, who plotted Leeds' historic return to the top flight, had signed a one-year contract extension.
Bielsa had during his press conference on Thursday afternoon hinted at a new deal and his plans to stay on at Elland Road this term.

He told reporters: "I will be working the next season at Leeds United.
"Everything has been sorted and it's definite I will be here this season."
When previewing his side's trip to Anfield, Bielsa added: “It’s a very special game. Full of different scenarios to last season.
“Liverpool are a just champion with a consistent style of play. Without a doubt one of the best teams in the world.
“They have a defined system with very good players.
It’s the best league in the world and it requires you to be at the highest level.
“It’s difficult to assimilate how we are going to adjust to the Premier League. We prepared for this, but we need to show it on the pitch.
"They (Leeds’ players) have been forming a group for some time and they have maintained the players they feel can play at a higher level."
