Leeds United have received a huge fitness boost ahead of their game with Middlesbrough at the weekend with Eddie Nketiah returning to training.
The on-loan Arsenal man has been out with a lower abdominal injury and last played for Marcelo Bielsa's at the end of October.
But in a post on social media from the club, Nketiah is pictured smiling wearing his side’s training attire, with the caption reading: “Back in training! @EddieNketiah9”.
The youngster has scored five times for the Whites so far this season, but according to recent reports, the Gunners want him to get more regular football and will look to activate their mid-season recall clause in January.
But when asked about Nketiah’s future beyond the next transfer window earlier this month, Bielsa suggested much will depend on the striker’s own opinion.
“I think that if he feels comfortable with us, this is going to be the key for him to stay or not,” Bielsa said.
The Whites sit two points behind league leaders West Brom in the Championship table and head into the game at Elland Road on Saturday on the back of a 1-0 win over Reading on Tuesday night.
