The monkey is finally off United’s back with their first win of the Premier League season at the weekend over Watford.

Diego Llorente was the man to claim the glory with a winner on his return to the side and the first clean sheet of the season too.

The win finally eases the pressure a touch as we head into the fortnight wait for Southampton away on October 16 and means we are not stewing on the worst start to a season in club history.

Rodrigo shone as the side’s striker once more, whole there were clear improvements down the left flank from Junior Firpo and Daniel James.

United now have a clear look at two months of fixtures which, in paper at least, look favourable for finally getting the points tally going.

The trip to Chelsea on December 11 begins a wretched run of fixtures to end the calendar year and you feel the team need to be in a strong league position to ride out the points they may drop in that period.

What was your take on the Watford game and how do you feel about where the season sits now? Let us know in the comments below.
