On Saturday we had what felt like our first selection drama under Marcelo Bielsa, who opted to leave out a fully-fit talisman like Pablo Hernandez from his squad.
Hernandez has since tried to diffuse the situation with an apology on Instagram for Monday’s reaction, but Bielsa has not drawn the dots for us on why he left him out.
