Robbie Gotts, Michael Olise and your key Leeds United questions answered

Leeds United face their second and final deadline of the transfer window on Friday afternoon as business finally comes to an end with the EFL.

For the past 11 days there has been the opportunity to trade with clubs in the Championship and below after the window closed to the Premier League and wider world.

While talk of new faces in from the Championship has cooled, the futures of Barry Douglas and Robbie Gotts have been major priorities for director of football Victor Orta.

Douglas has been in talks with Blackburn Rovers and Watford across the past fortnight and it would appear the noises in Lancashire are growing louder than those in the south.

Gotts, meanwhile, has been trailed by half of the EFL it seems, but is expected to have his loan to Lincoln City announced well before the deadline passes at 5pm on Friday.

Todd Cantwell, Said Benrahma and Emi Buendia were the bookmakers’ favourites if the Whites were to add anyone from the second tier, but time is running out for any of those to gain traction now.

Michael Olise has seen column inches at the 11th hour, but it looks more and more likely head coach Marcelo Bielsa is settled with what he has at his disposal.

Use the box above to ask me any questions about United’s business before deadline, the window as a whole, the Premier League or Monday’s game.
