Leeds United predicted XI for Crystal Palace as Javi Gracia eyes back-to-back wins

Leeds United took a giant leap away from the bottom three by defeating Nottingham Forest 2-1 on Tuesday night. And they will be looking to do so again when they welcome Crystal Palace to Elland Road on Sunday.

Roy Hodgson marked his second debut at Palace with a 2-1 victory over Leicester City courtesy of Jean-Philippe Mateta's dramatic 94th minute winner at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles start the weekend one place and one-point above Leeds, and sit three points clear of the drop zone as it stands.

Wilfried Gnonto returned to the bench against Forest but was not called upon by Javi Gracia after recovering from an ankle injury which he sustained during the international break.

Max Wober is still recovering from a muscle injury to his thigh, while Tyler Adams is also unavailable after undergoing surgery on his thigh.

Elsewhere, Adam Forshaw and Stuart Dallas remain long-term absentees, and Leeds are expected to change very little after returning to winning ways in midweek.

Gracia could consider starting Crysencio Summerville with Luis Sinisterra only just recovering from injury, and he has Rodrigo as an alternative option to lead the line at the expense of Patrick Bamford.

However, with Leeds not set to play for another eight days after the visit of Palace, Gracia may not feel the need to change a winning side.

Leeds predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Meslier; Ayling, Koch, Struijk, Firpo; McKennie, Roca; Harrison, Aaronson, Summerville; Bamford.
