Leeds United (4-3-3)
1 Illan Meslier
Not much he could do about the West Ham United goals, but his distribution left a lot to be desired all evening. 5
2 Luke Ayling
Gave the ball away far too frequently in the infancy of attacking moves. Happy to bomb forward, but rarely had the desired quality in the final third. 4
5 Robin Koch
Dithered on the ball too often. Gianluca Scamacca didn't see a lot of joy out of him, generally. 5

6 Liam Cooper (c)
Some loose tackles and gave Scamacca too much space at points, but generally solid. 5
21 Pascal Struijk
Poor night for the full-back. Gave away the penalty with a clumsy challenge that summed up a dire period in the game for the team. Looked shaky with Jarrod Bowen all evening. Made some odd passing decisions if he wasn't repeatedly going backwards to safety. 4
8 Marc Roca
Still waiting for the re-emergence of the deep-lying playmaker Leeds need in the middle. Passes continue to frustrate. Lacking pace at crucial moments too. 5
12 Tyler Adams
Tried to lead from the front in the more difficult moments. Still popping up in the right areas and getting a foot in. 6
10 Crysencio Summerville
Generally decent and an exquisite assist without being scintillating or a permanent thorn in West Ham's side. 6
7 Brenden Aaronson
A poor night for the American on the back of a run of form which is slowly looking concerning. Dribbles came to nothing, passes were off the mark and lacking threat. That was all before the loose ball which gifted West Ham their second. 4
19 Rodrigo
A quiet and underwhelming first half gave way to a far more dangerous role after the break. Took his goal really well and then kept asking questions in behind the away defence. 6
29 Wilfried Gnonto
Finally gets the goal he has deserved after weeks of impressive showings. A sublime finish too. Continued to carry the threat all evening for Leeds. At the forefront of every scrap. Loves a battle. 8
Substitutes
22 Joel Robles
3 Junior Firpo
11 Jack Harrison (on for Summerville 62min)
Much, much better. Two lovely through-balls for Rodrigo, one of which provided the equaliser. So much more composed than usual on the ball. 7
14 Diego Llorente
18 Darko Gyabi
25 Rasmus Kristensen
30 Joe Gelhardt (on for Gnonto 90+1min)
Very late switch. N/A
42 Sam Greenwood (on for Roca 78min)
Fresh legs in the latter stages. N/A
43 Mateusz Klich (on for Aaronson 62min)
As much as everyone yearned for an impact on what could have been his Elland Road farewell, the Pole just never seemed to get into the game. 5
