Leeds United player ratings vs West Ham with Costa, Alioski and Harrison all poor

Leeds United (4-1-4-1)

1 Illan Meslier - seven

Cannot be happy with his positioning on the equaliser. As he was at Crystal Palace, he was stood behind his line when he got a palm on the header. Distribution was tidy. A few tip-overs here and there, but not a lot of work for him to get through generally until a fantastic save to deny Fabian Balbuena from point-blank range.

15 Stuart Dallas - seven

Helped to shore things up down the left flank in the second half where Jarrod Bowen had been tormenting Ezgjan Alioski in the first period.

2 Luke Ayling - eight

Another stellar display in the heart of defence. Goal-saving block on Sebastien Haller in the second half from six yards.

6 Liam Cooper (c) - eight

Did not put a foot wrong alongside Ayling until he mistimed a sliding challenge which allowed Pablo Fornals to go close. Haller was not impressive at all, but Cooper bullied him all evening and kept him under wraps.

10 Ezgjan Alioski - five

One of those challenging evenings for Alioski, who failed to show the discipline needed to keep tabs on Bowen.

23 Kalvin Phillips - six

Nothing too dramatically wrong, but Said Benrahma had far too much time and space to influence things and get shots off in the second period.

18 Raphinha - seven

As lively as ever and still making those stunning cross-field passes. Looks like the main creator a lot of the time. On most of the free-kicks now too. Marcelo Bielsa trusting him more and more.

43 Mateusz Klich - six

Steady evening for the Pole. Declan Rice and Soucek proved excellent at breaking down the United attacks in the middle, making life hard.

20 Rodrigo - six

Started brightly, but drifted out of things in the second period. Looked like he was towing a trailer at times on this heavy pitch as he tited.

22 Jack Harrison - five

Another difficult evening for Harrison, who has not had a real impact on proceedings for a couple of games now.

9 Patrick Bamford - six

Alert and did well to win the penalty with a direct run through the centre, but fed on scraps for much of the evening, or difficult chances at the very least.

Substitutes

13 Kiko Casilla

7 Ian Poveda

11 Tyler Roberts (on for Bamford 74min) - N/A

17 Helder Costa (on for Harrison h/t) - five

No impact on the match and made the unnecessary foul which gifted the match-winning free-kick.

19 Pablo Hernandez

21 Pascal Struijk

46 Jamie Shackleton (on for Alioski h/t) - six

Started brightly, but came more and more under the cosh as West Ham went through the gears in the final half an hour.
