Leeds United player ratings as Eddie Nketiah rescues at point a Preston North End

Leeds United (4-1-4-1)

13 Kiko Casilla - six

Not a whole lot to do in the way of match-winning saves for the Spaniard, but he had his fair share of touches throughout the game. Knew when to stay and come off his line. Composed with the ball at his feet and nerves of steel with passes under pressure.

2 Luke Ayling © - seven

Didn't put a foot wrong all night and his mastery of the dark arts is critical away from home on an autumn evening. Played well with the ball at his feet under pressure and linked up well with Helder Costa.

5 Ben White - seven

Again so composed and unflustered by anything. Knows exactly when to act and when to be patient as the opposition attacks. Not quite the glamour and showmanship of some of his eight-out-of-10 matches.

28 Gaetano Berardi - seven

Like Ayling, stood up tall to the Preston pressure when it invariably came on all night. Made more than one crucial block inside his own six-yard box.

10 Ezgjan Alioski - six

Keen to attack all night, but left space down his channel time after time for Brad Potts to attack into. Lack of composure seriously hinders him in the opposition box when he so often picks up great positions to shoot or assist.

23 Kalvin Phillips - seven

Like every time he visits Deepdale, Phillips virtually nullified Preston talisman Alan Browne. Snuffed out a lot of Preston attacks. Passing did not stand out as he has done in the past. Preston pressure seemed to restrict him to defensive duties.

17 Helder Costa - six

A touch more from him than we have seen with one or two bursts to the touchline yielding chances, but again no sustained impact on the momentum or flow of the match.

15 Stuart Dallas - six

Not a natural central midfielder and it is showing in his relationship with Mateusz Klich on the pitch. Not a disaster by any means, but he is not having the control on a game he should through the middle, where the battles are won and lost.

43 Mateusz Klich - six

Saw more of the guile we need in the final third and the composure needed to do the unexpected with defenders bearing down on him. Still, he needs others around him to help too.

22 Jack Harrison - six

A shade away from a seven, but much, much better from the winger. Still has that never-say-die work ethic to attack and defend, but added some real thrust into the final third. Not always coming off, but just looked more dangerous generally.

9 Patrick Bamford - five

Five memorable chances around the box he should have done better with, may have been even more. Fans stuck by him to the last, but the drought must be weighing heavy on him now.

Substitutes

30 Kamil Miazek

3 Barry Douglas

11 Tyler Roberts (on for Berardi 77min) - seven

Tried his best to make something happen, but space was at a premium. Livened things up no end around the Preston box.

14 Eddie Nketiah (on for Bamford 77min) - seven

One of the smallest men on the pitch, but somehow gets that leap perfect at the back post for the equaliser.

36 Robbie Gotts

40 Leif Davis

47 Jack Clarke
