Leeds United owner shares his frustrations after Nottingham Forest defeat

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has said he understands the frustrations of fans after another setback in their bid to reach the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest were the side to deal said blow to Leeds, securing three points on Saturday evening with a 2-0 win at the City Ground.

Sammy Ameobi and Tyler Walker got the goals as Sabri Lamouchi’s men moved to within a point of Leeds and the automatic promotion places.

The Whites have seen an 11-point gap in the top two disappear, with Fulham now only behind Marcelo Bielsa’s men on goal difference.

Radrizzani took to Twitter after the City Ground defeat to address fans.

“I understand your frustration but I have seen a big effort; credit to Nottingham Forest (they) defended very well and a great GK performance,” he said.

“We are second, 15 games to go, best result the Club has ever had since was relegated.. I believe in our players, manager and our loyal fans. Till the end MOT”

The Leeds owner added: “ONE thing frustrate me more than any defeat.

“I have been like a fan like you, travelling and supporting my team since I was a student and no money.

“How can’t you support a team/club that have reached the best result of last 16 years!! Being always in top 3 since Aug 2018. Night.”
