Leeds United news as Whites 'enter direct talks' with Nuno Espirito Santo

A round-up of the latest Leeds United news this morning, Saturday, February 18.

Whites 'in direct talks' with former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo

Reports claim Leeds United have entered into talks with Nuno Espirito Santos and his camp to replace Jesse Marsch. The hunt for a new Whites head coach is entering it's third week , but Mo Ibrahim claims Leeds are ready to make their move.

Spanish TodoFichejes claimed the Whites were willing to pay the £4.4million release clause for the former Tottenham manager to leave his contract with Al-Ittihad.

Everton insider predicts Sean Dyche risk as Leeds United told to expect Goodison Park 'cauldron'

Leeds United travel to Merseyside this afternoon to take on Sean Dyche's Everton in the Premier League. The Whites will be looking to claim their first league win since November and they know three points would provide a huge boost to their hopes of survival.

Leeds United are about to get the clearest steer yet on where their head coach search is going

Does last week’s promise finally yield three points?

As promising and encouraging as last week was in that low-expectation double-header under a caretaker boss against one of the Premier League’s form sides, Leeds United really do need to win today. The Whites are running out of road and excuses for this dire winless run.

Two wins in 19 league matches and no wins in the last nine is a horrendous run which has, quite understandably, seen them plunge down the league table. A win at Goodison Park takes them four clear of Everton and then frames next weekend’s clash with Southampton in an entirely different way.

If they play as well as they did in last week’s matches, you would like to think a weaker side than Manchester United will fold.

Everton vs Leeds United: TV channel, how to watch, odds and live stream details

Leeds United take on Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon (3pm GMT) as they go in search of their first top-flight win since November.

Sean Dyche's side will host Leeds in Merseyside this weekend in what is a vital match in the battle against relegation for both clubs. Michael Skubala will once again lead the team following two impressive - albeit frustrating - performances against Manchester United last week.

Everton's last home game saw them stun league leaders Arsenal with a 1-0 win and Skubala will be ensuring that his players are prepared for a hostile atmosphere. The Toffees will be eager to get back to winning ways following their 2-0 loss to bitter rivals Liverpool at Anfield and the Whites will need to be at their best to come away with a victory.
