Leeds United news as Whites 'brace for £20million Jack Harrison bid' from Newcastle United

A round-up of the latest Leeds United headlines this morning, Friday 15 July.

Leeds United 'braced' for Jack Harrison bid

The Daily Mail claims Newcastle United are preparing a £20million bid for Leeds United winger Jack Harrison. However, having lost Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha set to move to Barcelona, the Whites are expected to hold out for more than the proposed offer.

Eddie Howe is reportedly a huge fan of the 25-year-old and appears to be a cheaper alternative than Bayer Leverkusen's Moussa Diaby who is valued at £60million. Harrison's versatility is one of the main reason's he's attracting interest from clubs this summer, after Leeds endured a disappointing campaign.

Jesse Marsch's side kicked of their pre-season tour of Australia with a win over Brisbane Roar, with a number of new signings getting their first run out as a Leeds United player. If the Whites were to lose Harrison this summer, then that would pose a further headache for their recruitment team after an already busy window.

Leeds are reportedly still in talks with PSG for striker Arnaud Kalimuendo and are looking to offload keeper Kiko Casilla amid interest from Spain.
