Leeds United news as training video absence hints at change for Brighton clash

Here are this evening's Leeds United headlines on Friday, April 30.

Costa training video absence

Leeds United's latest training video has been released on LUTV, which shows Marcelo Bielsa's squad being put through their paces ahead of the trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Rodrigo is present after Bielsa confirmed the Spain international is available again, while Liam Cooper continues to train with the squad as he gets ready to serve the final match of his three-game suspension.

More interesting perhaps is who is not involved. There is no sign of Raphinha, which is no surprise after Bielsa ruled him out against the Seagulls, but there is also no footage of Helder Costa.

The winger was substituted on 72 minutes against Manchester United when he was the victim of a wrestling-style challenge from Aaron Wan-Bissaka, leaving the pitch in clear pain. Bielsa was not asked about his fitness during Thursday's press conference, possibly indicating that we will see a change on the south coast.

Fixtures moved

Leeds United have seen two of their remaining fixtures moved as the Premier League looks to step up plans to welcome fans back into stadiums.

Marcelo Bielsa's men were due to face Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday, May 11, but this match has now been pushed back to Saturday, May 15. It will be a 12.30 kick-off and BT Sport will be televising the action.

Leeds were due to make the trip down to Southampton that day, but the St Mary's visit will be shifted back to the following midweek and be played on either Tuesday, May 18 or Wednesday, May 19.

What to look out for at Brighton

This weekend's trip to Brighton & Hove Albion should see plenty of subplots on offer at the AMEX Stadium.

There is, of course, the Ben White reunion, which will see the former Leeds loan man up against his former team-mates, plus questions over the roles of Pascal Struijk, Robin Koch and Kalvin Phillips.

Beren Cross has picked out five pre-match talking points that have caught his eye here.
