Here are your Leeds United evening headlines for Monday, February 1.
Swansea have Greenwood bid rejected
Swansea City have had an approach for Leeds striker Sam Greenwood rejected, reports state on deadline day.
Per Sky Sports, the promotion-chasing Swansea had a bid rejected for the young striker, who has been prolific for the Leeds development squad since signing from Arsenal in the summer, scoring six goals in nine Premier League 2 games.
Steve Cooper is said to be keen to bring Greenwood in on loan, but Leeds have said that they want to keep the 19-year-old at Elland Road instead.
Greenwood is yet to feature in a Premier League game this season but did make his first-team debut in the FA Cup third-round defeat to Crawley, coming off the bench with a little over 30 minutes left.
Bielsa issues injury updates
Marcelo Bielsa has provided a crucial update on the availability of Rodrigo, Raphinha, and Patrick Bamford ahead of the midweek clash against Everton after the trio picked up different knocks in the weekend's win over Leicester City.
Bielsa says that Rodrigo is the worst-affected of the three as the Whites face a three-day turnaround to be ready for the Wednesday night kick-off.
"Rodrigo is having a scan at the moment to evaluate his condition," Bielsa said in his press conference on Monday.
"He had an action where both his feet were very wide apart and potentially that excessive stretch could have caused a muscle injury."
On Raphinha and Bamford, he added: "The other two cases are less worrying. It means that two days prior to the game you can't be sure that any player will be available for the game. The only thing to add is that the problem that Rodrigo has to overcome to be available on Wednesday is bigger.
"The problems that Raphinha and Bamford have to overcome are more simple."
Update on Casey's future
Oliver Casey has been linked with a loan exit from Leeds this January as he seeks more regular playing time.
Bielsa was asked about the possibility as the deadline closes in, but was coy in his response, stating that it depends on the potential landing spots.
"It’s difficult to refer to potential outgoings," he said when asked about Casey. "The answer to the question that you’re asking, the club would need to know what the possibilities of Olly Casey being away from Leeds, if it’s to a club where he can compete at a good level for the rest of the season.
"To compare that with the similar options in the under-23s which Olly Casey is vying for. And there are the returns of Berardi, Llorente and Koch."
