Leeds United news as Polish media report Mateusz Klich follow-up Covid-19 test negative

Here are the morning Leeds United headlines on Thursday, March 25.

Polish media say Klich's follow-up Covid-19 test negative

Leeds United midfielder Matuesz Klich has now recorded a negative Covid-19 test, according to the Polish media.

Jakub Kwiatkowski, the team manager of the Poland national side tweeted that Klich had tested positive on Wednesday morning and would be undergoing a further test.

Polish outlet TVP Sport now quotes Kwiatkowski as saying that this second test returned a negative result.

The initial negative test had ruled Klich out of Poland's Thursday night clash against Hungary in Budapest ahead of their home match against Andorra and trip to Wembley to face England.

Further reports in Poland suggest that Klich will now undergo a PCR test before any decision is made on his involvement with Poland for the rest of the international break.

Leeds United's next fixture is against Sheffield United on Saturday, April 3.
