Leeds United move for EFL star as transfer rebuild begins - reports

Leeds United are already making plans for the 2019/20 season if the latest reports are to be believed.

The Whites crashed out of the Championship play-offs to Derby County on Tuesday night to end their hopes of reaching the Premier League.

Football Insider now reports that Leeds have already made their move for Forest Green winger Reece Brown ahead of a potential summer transfer.

Brown is out of contract this summer and will be a free agent in the next few weeks. League Two Forest Green will be due compensation via a tribunal due to his age.

The 23-year-old enjoyed an impressive season at the New Lawn with 11 goals and 15 assists.

Leeds are keen on adding pace to their attacking options this summer and Brown appears to be high on the list with his ability to play on either wing or as a support striker.

Brown made 20 appearances after breaking through the Birmingham City Academy. He spent time out on loan at Notts County and Chesterfield before heading to Forest Green in July 2017.

The attacking midfielder is being tracked by a number of Championship clubs with Leeds looking to make their move with the transfer window now open for business.
