Here are the Leeds United morning headlines for Friday, May 22.
Leeds chase Blackburn star - report
Leeds United are understood to be interest in signing Blackburn Rovers star Luke Brennan, according to reports.
The 18-year-old winger has impressed during Blackburn's FA Youth Cup campaign - and made the step up to Premier League 2 during the season as well.
Brennan initially joined Blackburn as an under-7 - but considering the financial pressures caused by the season hiatus, the club could well be prepared to accept a decent offer for their young talent.
Dobra snub
Leeds have been dealt a blow as they chased the signing of Ipswich Town's Armando Dobra.
The Albanian midfielder has just signed a new long-term deal to keep him at Portman Road for the foreseeable future.
Although he has clocked up only 79 minutes on the pitch during his three senior appearances for Town so far, he has caught the eye of several clubs.
Brighton and Hove Albion are understood to have put in two bids for the 19-year-old in the January transfer window - and Southampton joined the Whites in tracking his progress this spring.
New EFL plans
Leeds United could still secure automatic promotion to the Premier League, according to the EFL's latest proposals.
The league have put forward a plan to complete the season - and intend to write it into the rules for future campaigns as well.
One of the suggested ways forward is to allow automatic promotion and relegation to happen as normal.
That will be good news for Leeds - who are currently top of the Championship table, leading West Bromwich Albion by a single point.
The EFL also propose using a points-per-game calculation to decide the final table, plus a four-team play-off for the final promotion spot.
