Berardi on promotion dream
Gaetano Berardi has told the Leeds United website that if the club win promotion to the Premier League it would provide “the best memory ever."
The defender, who is out of contract this summer having been at Elland Road since 2014, said: “We've been fighting for this for many years, the six years I've been at Leeds, the fans for many more years, but also for my teammates who are fighting.
"It doesn't matter if it's been one, two or three years, we have to just focus on this one and it would be the best present for everyone.”
Young goalkeeper on leaving Leeds
Harrison Male is leaving Leeds after being with the club for 12 years. The 19-year old goalkeeper has spoken to 24/7 Football , a YouTube channel, about his experience with Leeds and his career going forward.
“It is sad to leave, but I always go by everything happens for a reason,” he said.
“If this is meant to be then hopefully I can progress somewhere else.”

Male never made a senior appearance for the club, and has struggled with injury during the 2019/20 campaign.
Latest COVID-19 test results revealed
The EFL has confirmed there were two positive results in the latest round of COVID-19 testing, which is down from the nine who tested positive in the previous round.
A statement from the EFL confirmed the details: "Following the latest round of COVID-19 testing, the EFL can confirm that 1,179 players and club staff from the 24 Championship clubs were tested over the course of Wednesday, June 3, Thursday, June 4, Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6, with two individuals testing positive from two clubs.”
Barnsley have confirmed they are one of the clubs. The lowering number of positive results will be seen as an encouraging sign as the Championship prepares to resume on June 20.
