Leeds United midfielder wanted by League Two side as Whites consider options

Jordan Stevens' loan move to Swindon Town has not been the biggest success story this season.

The 20-year-old winger headed to Swindon in September on a year-long deal with the hope of picking up valuable game time and coming back to Elland Road stronger and ready to start knocking on the door of a place in the first team squad once again after featuring in the Championship two years ago.

The trouble is to do that he needs to play games and that's not been the case, featuring just twice since John Sheridan took over at the County Ground back in November.

Out of favour, he could be out of the club this month as Leeds consider their options with the young player.

Leeds are considering a recall for the player and sending him out on loan, with suggestions Salford City could well be his destination.

Salford are now managed by Richie Wellens, who signed Stevens for Swindon, and the manager is reportedly keen on a reunion.
