Leeds United linked with Hull’s Jarrod Bowen in latest transfer rumours

Leeds United could be set to bolster their attacking options with reports surfacing they are preparing to make a move for Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen.

The Sun is reporting the Whites are preparing to make a £3m offer to take the winger on loan for the rest of the campaign, as they look to secure a return to the Premier League.

It is no secret Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa is looking to add to his attacking options this month, with Eddie Nketiah returning to Arsenal due to a lack of game time at Elland Road.

Bowen’s Hull deal is set to expire in the summer, but they can exercise a clause to keep him for a further year, which they are expected to do.

The 23-year-old is also believed to be attracting the interest of Newcastle United, and LeedsLive understand a move for one of the Championships standout stars this season is unlikely.

"We're aware we have to replace two players. Victor Orta is working very hard to resolve this," Bielsa replied when asked about the prospect of new additions at his weekly media briefing.

"The president supports the needs of the team. If we cannot resolve it, it is not going to be for a lack of effort or because someone is not engaged.

"We cannot say that is going to happen the same as Dan James or we didn’t take advantage of Nketiah. None and both conclusions are true."
