Leeds United linked with defensive reinforcement that could solve Ben White conundrum

Leeds United have been linked with a move for Paris FC defender Samuel Yohou.

The Whites are looking to strengthen their squad for a potential return to the Premier League this season.

It remains to be seen when or if the 2019/20 season will be completed but with Leeds top of the Championship, it looks likely they'll be back in the top-flight for next season.

With that in mind, the Leeds recruitment team already have the feelers out, according to recent reports.

Centre-back remains an area of priority for the Whites to strengthen, with Gaetano Berardi out of contract and Ben White set to return to Brighton & Hove Albion after his season-long loan.

That leaves Marcelo Bielsa with just captain Liam Cooper at his disposal for next season.

Reports in France from le10sport claim that Leeds are looking at a move for Yohou, who is out of contract this summer.

The Paris FC defender is attracting interest from across Europe after a string of impressive performances.

The 27-year-old is said to be adept in possession as well as offering a physical presence needed to play in the Premier League, which suits Bielsa's ball-playing philosophy.
