While Leeds United's focus is firmly on the final two-and-a-half weeks of an epic Championship campaign and ending their 16-year Premier League exile, the transfer rumour mill is continuing to turn.
Should Leeds maintain their six-point buffer in the top two and take their place in the top flight next season, it will result in a very different transfer window, given the financial boost that promotion would bring.
Plenty of names will no doubt be linked in the coming weeks, with our sister title MirrorFootball today reporting that Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is a potential target for the club.
They report that Leeds will make a new striker a priority this summer, with an 'ambitious' move for the 22-year-old French youth international being mooted.
Patrick Bamford has led the line for Leeds this season with his goal at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday his 15th of the campaign. The 26-year-old has seen off competition from loan signings Eddie Nketiah and Jean-Kevin Augustin to maintain his place in the side, but the Mirror claim Bielsa will be keen on adding to his ranks, should promotion be achieved.
Former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has also been linked with a Edouard reunion at Leicester City. Should the Foxes claim a Champions League spot, they will have the finances to outmaneuver rivals to his signature.
Edouard has netted 51 times for the Scottish champions over the past two seasons since his move from Paris Saint-Germain was made permanent for a reported £9million in 2018.
During his time at the French side he won the club's award for their best academy player in 2016, following in the footsteps of Augustin, who's own future may define whether a Leeds bid for him is feasible.
The Whites opted not to extend Augustin's loan spell for the remainder of the campaign last month, following an injury-hit spell which saw him play just 49 minutes for the club.
Leeds are believed to be obliged to buy Augustin for a fee of around £17million should they be promoted as a part of the deal which saw him arrive at Elland Road on loan in January.
