Leeds United icon Chris Kamara wants a huge concert at Elland Road to celebrate Premier League promotion

Leeds United legend Chris Kamara would love to see a massive promotion party at Elland Road headlined by the Kaiser Chiefs to mark the club’s Premier League return.

Kammy, 62, now a familiar face on TV, put a post on Twitter calling for a big party at Leeds United’s home - although acknowledging how it can’t happen because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

He’d love to see a repeat of last summer’s centenary celebration which had Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines, Gaz Coombes and The Sherlocks playing the event marking Leeds United’s 100th anniversary.

Of course, the Kaisers are some of Leeds United’s most famous fans. Following last night’s success Kammy tweeted Kaiser Chiefs star Simon Rix.

Last night, famous Leeds United supporters all across the globe celebrated the Whites being promoted back to the Premier League - ending their 16-year exile.

Promotion was confirmed when West Brom dropped points against Huddersfield Town.

The Whites will be back in action tomorrow against Derby County.
