Leeds United legend Chris Kamara flew the flag for fish and chips in Yorkshire when he appeared on ITV show Harry Redknapp’s Sandbanks Summer.
In the series, Redknapp welcomes celebrity friends to his house in Sandbanks, Britain's most exclusive and expensive seaside resort with the stars then heading off for a day of fun.
In the latest episode, which aired on Wednesday night, Kammy, 62, a popular former Elland Road star, who is also known to millions on for his work on Sky Sports, appeared alongside John Barnes, 56.
The football stars took to the waters during the episode to race a powerboat. Kammy also revealed he signed up to be in the Navy during his younger years.
The former Bradford City and Sheffield United man was snapped up by Portsmouth back in 1974 while playing for the Navy’s football team.
After their fun on the water, the trio headed for some fish and chips in Westbourne, Dorset, where Kammy did something any true Yorkshireman would...he asked for scraps.
And, much to his surprise, the chippy actually served them on top of their fish and chips.
“They do scraps here? I can’t believe it,” Kamara excitedly exclaimed.
“Mushy peas as well?”
Later in the episode, Kammy went behind the counter and offered punters free fish and chips.
