Leeds United legend Chris Kamara gives update on future of Ninja Warrior UK

Leeds United legend Chris Kamara has given fans of Ninja Warrior UK an update on the future of the ITV programme.

Kammy, 62, hosts the adrenaline-filled TV show alongside Ben Shephard and Rochelle Humes. During lockdown, ITV has shown repeats of Ninja Warrior with viewers hoping a new series was on the way.

Unfortunately, former Leeds United Kammy has confirmed the show is ‘finished’.

Speaking to Keith Lemon on Instagram, he said: “Ninja Warrior is finished, I’m afraid.”

Keith replied: “Everybody loves Ninja Warrior, don’t they?”

The former footballer answered: “Yeah they do, apart from one person – the person who commissions it.”

Earlier this year, Kammy opened a Ninja Warrior adventure park in Sheffield. The attraction has a host of obstacles you and your family can take on.

Elsewhere, you’ll soon be able to see Kammy and Keith Lemon on TV. The former footballer, turned TV host, will be appearing on new show Not Shopping With Keith Lemon.

We’ll bring you more news of when the duo with be appearing in the ITV programme together.
