Leeds United legend Billy Bremner to be honoured in special new show happening in the city

Leeds United icon Billy Bremner is going to be honoured in a new comedy drama.

The former player, star of Don Revie’s iconic Whites 1970s side, is the inspiration for the production from comedian Phil Duffer.

It follows the comic’s goal to play football and surpass the career of his childhood hero Bremner.

The show, called Billy Bremner and Me, was a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and it is sure to be a popular night out for Leeds United supporters when the tour comes to Leeds City Varieties.

You can go see it next year on Friday, April 17.

Tickets cost £18 and you can buy them from the City Varieties website.
