Leeds United learn their 2023-24 Championship opponents after Wembley drama

Leeds United now know the full 23 sides they will be competing against after Sheffield Wednesday clinched their place in the second tier of English football with a 1-0 extra-time win over Barnsley in the League One play-off final at Wembley.

It means the Championship line-up is complete and, if Leeds United are to win promotion back to the top flght at the first time of asking, they are going to have to get the better of the likes of Middlesbrough, Norwich City, Watford and West Bromwich Albion, as well as fellow relegated sides Leicester City and Southampton.
