Andy Woolmer will take charge of Leeds United's clash with Cardiff City on Sunday.
Marcelo Bielsa's men will return to action after more than three months off in South Wales on Sunday.
Leeds will be looking to continue to their promotion bid against the Bluebirds on Sunday and begin to end a wretched run against the Welsh club, who currently sit two points off the top six.
United have only won three of their last 24 games against Cardiff - all three of those victories coming back-to-back - and blew a three-goal lead against them earlier this season.
It has now been announced that Woolmer will take charge of the Cardiff City Stadium fixture, refereeing his first Leeds clash for four years.
The last time Woolmer was in charge of a United fixture was in 2016 when he oversaw a penalty shootout win over Norwich City in the Fourth Round of the Carabao Cup.
Interestingly, Woolmer has refereed a Cardiff-Leeds clash before, a 3-1 defeat in South Wales in 2014, but that was Leeds' only defeat across 10 games under the watch of the Northampton-based official.
Woolmer hasn't refereed a Cardiff game since 2017, a 2-1 home defeat to Fulham for the Welsh side.
The Bluebirds have only lost two games from 14 overseen by Woolmer.
Daniel Leach and Andrew Fox will be the line officials on Sunday with Lee Swabey the fourth official.
