Leeds United latest: Nketiah experiment fails, dream transfer window, Hernandez solutions

Marcelo Bielsa discussed his latest experiment with Eddie Nketiah in the Leeds United side, while we laid out what we see as the dream transfer window for the Whites next month and looked into how the club may line up in Pablo Hernandez's absence.

Arsenal to make Nketiah decision as Bielsa admits latest test failed

Marcelo Bielsa made the bold decision to play Eddie Nketiah and Patrick Bamford together during the second half in Leeds United’s 2-1 defeat to Fulham on Saturday.

The much-hyped Arsenal loanee was brought off the bench at half-time as Leeds trailed by a goal at Craven Cottage to play alongside, rather than instead of, United's first-choice centre-forward.

Three ways that Leeds could line up in the absence of Hernandez

Marcelo Bielsa is not known for tinkering or changing his line-ups often at Leeds United, but he’ll be forced to make at least one for the Boxing Day match against Preston North End.

The Spaniard has often been central to United's best performances under Bielsa and his creativity will be missed, but there are ways to compensate for his absence.

Here are three ways Leeds United could line up without him against Preston:
